Senturus offers a highly effective blend of business and technical expertise that, combined with professional project management, delivers tremendous cost savings and business efficiencies. We like to sum it up by saying we are DBAs with MBAs. In some cases, we are DBAs with CPAs. Each one of our lead consultants has deep business knowledge spanning a wide range of industries and business analytics software solutions. Most important, each one has real-life experience as a senior executive in finance, operations, sales or marketing. Enhancing the Senturus knowledge base is a team of specialists: data architects, project managers and report writers who are masters of their respective crafts.

John Peterson joined Senturus in 2002, bringing over 20 years of manufacturing management and marketing experience at high technology companies. Originally serving as CFO, today John is the company's thought leader and visionary. He leads the solution delivery side of the company and manages all operations.

Before joining Senturus, John led corporate marketing and communications at Virage, Inc. He was instrumental in charting the company's strategic direction and growing demand over tenfold for its enterprise video content management products and services. Prior to Virage, John held senior roles at Apple Computer, where he managed global product strategy for the $3 billion professional Macintosh product line and worldwide business operations. At Apple, he implemented the first integrated business intelligence system aimed at forecasting, pricing and managing product transitions for over $8 billion of Apple desktop and portable computers. Prior to Apple, John was with Sony, Japan where he aligned executive strategy, corporate core competencies and market opportunities to develop the U.S. marketing strategy for one of the world's first hand-held GPS-based products. John began his career at Bechtel, where he founded and chaired the automation implementation committee to facilitate the use of computers in engineering and construction projects.

John earned undergraduate degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Economics at Stanford University and received his MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business.
