Analytics/Business Intelligence Trainer

Senturus develops and delivers technology training courses to corporate customers. We specialize in the Microsoft, Tableau and Cognos Analytics and business intelligence platforms.

We are looking for an excellent Corporate Trainer to join our team. An experienced educator, the ideal candidate should be a great communicator with the ability to effectively describe complicated ideas to different audiences. The candidate must be highly organized, proficient in time management and possess excellent public speaking skills.

We deliver our training through online and in-person instructor-led courses and through recorded eLearning. The technical nature of our audiences requires our trainers to be skilled practitioners of technology platforms. We are particularly interested in trainers familiar with Microsoft Azure and Power BI.

• Deliver engaging training courses to our customers, both through online communication tools and on-site at customer’s offices
• Identify new course opportunities and assist in developing the curriculum roadmap
• Develop and write new courseware, including presentations and class exercises
• Provide follow-up and mentorship to customers

• Understand the needs of course attendees and identify opportunities for our consulting services to assist
• Supervise training team members
• Participate in sales calls to understand customer needs and identify ways to adapt course materials to fit

• Understand data warehousing and business intelligence concepts with practical experience implementing them
• Familiar with Microsoft Power BI and Azure solutions for data analytics
• Impressive communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• A minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in a teaching position

• Solid knowledge of the latest corporate training techniques
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Willingness to travel to customer sites to teach classes over 2- to 4- days
